What are Turning Targets?

We use Bullseye targets on a turning target machine that hides and displays the targets for a few seconds at a time. You need to quickly aim and fire before the target turns away - Fast reactions needed.

What is a bolt action rifle?

Several Steel Plates are setup, you will need to shoot each one as quickly as possible. Fastest shot wins.

Be warned, this is great fun but eats ammo at an alarming rate!

What is a bolt action rifle?

What is a bolt action rifle?

These are traditional hunting rifles used for target sports. The bolt-action rifle’s operation involves manually operating the bolt:

  • The bolt handle, typically on the right-hand side, opens and closes the breech (barrel).
  • the shooter loads cartridges by moving the bolt back, and then pushing the bolt forward to pick up a round from the magazine and chamber it.
  • Once the bolt is closed, the rifle is ready to fire.

What is a Semi Auto rifle

What is a bolt action rifle?

What is a Semi Auto rifle

A semi-automatic rifle is an autoloading rifle that fires a single cartridge with each pull of the trigger and uses part of the fired cartridge’s energy to eject the case and load another cartridge into the chamber automatically.

  • These rifles are easier to shoot than bolt action.
  • They are are less accurate than Bolt action.
  • They will fire as quickly as you can pull the trigger! (10 rounds in 5 seconds - easy!).
