You have now passed the reference stage of joining our club and can now attend our next Safe Handling Training course.

The 3 week course will start and continue on the following dates: 

Saturday 15th February 2025. 

Saturday 22nd February 2025.

Saturday 1st March 2025

Start time: 10:30am, finish around 12:30pm

We have the Safe handling training presentation online: https://www.weybridgerpc.co.uk/training. 

Please read before attending as this will allow more time to shoot on the training days.


The course is a high level overview of Firearms safe handling and familiarisation of the guns used at Weybridge Rifle & Pistol Club.

Typically you will shoot between 50 to 100 rounds of 0.22 bullets per session and this will cost £5 to £10. (0.38spl rounds will cost more) – payment will be taken via credit/debit card only on the day.


Rifles used are:

CZ 457 – Bolt Action (0.22LR)

Ruger 10/22 – Semi Auto (0.22LR)

Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 (0.22LR)

Marlin 1894 Carbine – Lever Action (0.38spl)


Please bring PPE – Safety Glasses and Hearing Protection are mandatory. 

(appropriate clothing – warm (if it’s cold), allows easy movement, not an issue if it gets dirty.

Please note there are 2 bridges for Desborough Island, they are both one way, the one to the east, nearest Walton Bridge gets you onto the Island and the other gets you off the island.
